When building this next chapter of Pressi Juices, supporting Australian businesses was a non negotiable. From the Australian farmers growing the produce, to the Australian manufacturer now producing the juice, graphic designers, label printers, distributors and the many other small Australian businesses behind the scenes, every part of the process has been intentionally kept local.

Nothing is offshore. It’s Australian produce, Australian businesses and an Australian brand from start to finish.

Even the leftover juice pulp is returned to local farmers to go back into the land, helping complete the cycle.

“Make your insides sexy” is a little Pressi Juices humour with a pretty serious meaning behind it.

From the beginning, the goal has been to make drinking veggie juice feel cool, chic and genuinely enjoyable. Not something you force yourself to drink because it’s “healthy”, but something you actually want to reach for.

Every blend has been created with purpose, choosing ingredients for their nutritional value and the way they can help fuel your body. The juices are packed with naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients from fresh fruits, vegetables, ginger and turmeric.

A big part of what makes Pressi Juices different is the amount of the good stuff actually in the bottle. Higher percentages of quality ingredients like ginger, turmeric and vegetables mean the recipes aren’t relying on cheaper, sweeter ingredients to bulk them out or mask the flavour. There’s no skimping on the ingredients that matter.

Think of it as a liquid multivitamin, but fresher, tastier and a lot more fun.

It’s not about adding ingredients just to sound healthy. Every ingredient has a reason for being there, with a focus on getting as much goodness into each bottle as possible.

Our juices have a 90 day shelf life with no preservatives, added sugar or fillers.

After coming from a juice bar where our bottles had just a 2-3 day shelf life, 90 days feels pretty massive. HPP (High Pressure Processing) is our chosen method of manufacturing because it helps preserve the natural flavour, nutrients, freshness and quality of the juice without compromising on what matters most.

There are manufacturing methods that can give juice a much longer shelf life, but they weren’t the right fit for Pressi Juices. A 90 day shelf life gives the brand the balance it was looking for: enough longevity to scale into wholesale, without moving too far away from the fresh juice experience that started it all. Anything above 90 days was a no go.

From 2-3 days in the juice bar to 90 days today, it’s a pretty exciting evolution for Pressi Juices.

Yes. This is actually the juice that started it all.

It began with juicing at home, making green juice for friends to detox away bad decisions and wanting to create something that genuinely gave the body a bit of life. The goal was simple: create the healthiest, greenest juice possible.

And that’s exactly what it became.

There’s no apple juice or pineapple juice to make it sweeter. It’s packed with vegetables, naturally low in sugar and has a serious hit of ginger. Honestly, it might just be the greenest juice you’ll ever drink.

It became a daily ritual for some of our most loyal customers, with people coming into the juice bar every single day specifically for their green juice.

For anyone trying it for the first time, there was always a little warning:

“This is a non-sweet green juice. Are you okay with that?”

It definitely has a love/hate relationship. But if you’re a true veggie juice lover, this one is for you.

Yes. And this is one of our favourite stories from the juice bar days.

While Metallica was touring Brisbane, their head chef stopped by our Fortitude Valley juice bar looking for genuinely healthy options to keep the crew fuelled while on the road. Our green juice made the cut.

It’s definitely not your typical sweet green juice. There’s no pineapple or apple juice to disguise the vegetables. It’s low in natural sugar, savoury, seriously green and finished with a generous hit of ginger.

It’s probably a love or hate kind of juice. But that’s exactly how we like it.

So, did Metallica drink our green juice while on tour?

The answer is YES.

Over the years, the juice bar had the privilege of welcoming and supplying a number of high profile celebrities, international musicians, VIP clients and major corporate names, making for some pretty memorable moments along the way.

It all started with buying fruit and vegetables for the household from local farmers markets, and has grown into working directly with Australian farmers and produce suppliers.

That commitment hasn’t changed. As Pressi Juices grows, high quality local produce will never be something to compromise on.

HPP is used to help preserve the natural freshness, flavour and quality of the juice without the need for traditional preservatives. Just real ingredients, sourced properly and made into really good quality juice.

For now, Pressi Juices is intentionally taking a more boutique approach, partnering with carefully selected cafes, small general store type supermarkets, hotels, wellness spaces and fitness studios. The focus is on being in the right places, supporting local businesses and maintaining the quality that Pressi Juices was built on.

Our 90 day shelf life may also not be suited to the logistics and requirements of larger supermarket networks. And honestly, we’re okay with that. The shorter shelf life is part of the choice to prioritise quality over longevity.
